- Customization versus Raw Performance: Xen's hypervisor will provide you with more options to configure your virtual private server's kernel, however, this functionality will have a higher cost of resources than the OpenVZ platform.
VPSLink will always strive to provide the best performance at the lowest possible prices, but you may need to consider a hosting plan that is a step up from your present one if you are switching to Xen from another platform. - Swap Space versus Storage Space: Each Xen VPS is configured with swap space equivalent to twice the guaranteed RAM available with its hosting plan. Swap space allocation will have a minor effect on the amount of disk space available for regular file storage.
